Frequently Asked Questions
Is it free to set up an account with Fantasy Football Cheat?
Yes
How do I set up an account with Fantasy Football Cheat?
It’s really easy, and takes about 30 seconds. All you need to do is click on the following link to register. A password will be e-mailed to you, which you can then use to login to the site.
How do I login to the site?
Once you have set up an account (see above question!), you can login by either clicking on the ‘log in to reply’ link under all comments on the message boards, or by clicking here to login.
Are there any rules on the message boards?
The core ethos of the Fantasy Football Cheat site is that it is a place where people can come and enhance their enjoyment of fantasy football. We have a great atmosphere here, and the message boards are full of people from all walks of life that all share one common passion – a love of fantasy football. This fun and friendly atmosphere is number one on our list of priorities here at Fantasy Football Cheat. We therefore politely ask that you conduct yourself appropriately on the site, and help us maintain the amazing atmosphere that we have here.
In our desire to always uphold the friendly culture of our site, we want to be clear that we will not tolerate abusive, rude, offensive, sexist or racist comments on our message boards. On the rare occasions where comments of this nature are made, then the offending post will be removed, with the offender given a ‘yellow card’ warning. Repeat offenders will be given a ‘red card’ and their account with us will be closed down. Please note that if we deem a post to have seriously over stepped the mark, then we will have no hesitation in issuing a ‘straight red card’.
If you would like to report any comments to us for review, then please contact us.
How do I change my account information (display name, password, e-mail etc)?
You need to be logged in to do this. Once you are logged in, in the top right corner of every page you will see some text that starts with ’Logged in as’ and is followed by your ‘display name’. If you either click this text, or hover your mouse over the text and select ‘Edit My Profile’, you will be taken to your ‘Member Profile’ page. On the ‘Member Profile’ page you can change your e-mail address, password, first and last name, display name and the link to your fantasy team. Don’t forget to click ‘Save All Changes’ at the bottom of the page when you are finished!
How do I link my ‘display name’ to my fantasy team?
We do not request this link when you set up an account with Fantasy Football Cheat as it is entirely optional whether you want to add it or not. If you would like to link your fantasy team to your ‘display name’ then you need to access your ‘Member Profile’ page (see above answer for simple step by step instructions for how to do this). Once you have accessed your ‘Member Profile’ page, all you need to do is enter the link to your fantasy team in the ‘Link To Your Fantasy Team’ box. The URL should end in …event-history/1/ where the ‘1’ is the previously completed gameweek number. To make sure you get the right URL, when you are logged in to the FPL site, you simply need to click on the ‘Points’ tab. The URL on the ‘Points’ tab is the one to use here for your ‘display name’ link. Obviously the final number of the URL will change as we move from one gameweek to the next (i.e. …event-history/1/ for gameweek 1; …event-history/2/ for gameweek 2; …event-history/3/ for gameweek 3 etc) so it’s a good idea to update your link on our site regularly. Once done, simply click ‘Save All Changes’ at the bottom of the page.
I’ve lost my password?
No problem! Click here and enter either your username or email address, and you will receive a link to create a new password via email.
How do I get a Gravatar (the image next to my ‘display name’)?
This is really easy. Simply click here and you can be up and running with a Gravatar in a matter of minutes. What’s even more fun is you can change your Gravatar as often as you like!
How do I log out of the site?
Once you are logged in, in the top right corner of every page you will see some text that starts with ‘Logged in as’ and is followed by your ‘display name’. To log out, simply hover your mouse over the text and select ‘Log Out’.
Are you on Facebook or Twitter?
Yes we are! If you want to receive important injury updates, team news and player developments when we hear about them, then like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter as we post live updates on both social media networks right through the season.
