Other fantasy managers can often be a great source of inspiration, so here at Fantasy Football Cheat we have decided to release this dedicated ‘Rate My Team’ article as we enter the final countdown to the Saturday morning 11.30am deadline. Please use the message board below this article to ask other fantasy managers to ‘Rate My Team’.
Why do it?
Asking other managers to rate your team is a great way to get a second opinion, especially if you have some last minute selection dilemmas you want some help with. As always, the biggest problem for all managers ahead of the opening gameweek of the season is trying to select a team within the constraints of the permitted £100m budget. Selecting the right opening team is crucial, yet it is also one of the hardest decisions of the season. Our range of pre-season articles should help, but if you want some specific advice on your team, then why not put your question out there and see what views you get back.
But it doesn’t all have to be about your gameweek 1 squad selection. There are a whole host of questions you can run past other fantasy managers. Maybe you want a view on what the best formation is given the players in your fantasy squad, or who you should put on the bench.
Whatever your fantasy football question may be, why not put it out there and see how you get on? You may be pleasantly surprised by some of the ideas you get back.
What information should I give?
The more information you can give about your team the better. To get valuable feedback, you really need to put up your whole team (including subs) and the amount of cash you have left over in the bank. Any further information you choose to include on top of that (i.e. your own player thoughts, preferred formation for the opening gameweek etc) will also clearly help.
Can I rate other people’s teams?
Of course you can! If you have ever sat watching Match of the Day and thought to yourself that you could do a better job than Alan Hansen…well now is your chance to prove it! If you have an opinion on someone else’s team or an answer to their question, please feel free to give it. No one has to act on the advice given, it is all just about sharing thoughts, opinions and ideas…

One of the reasons I didn’t do as well as I could last year was because I always go out on a Friday, and forgot to change my team line-up and captain so many times!

I did it sober. I think he will play but there’s always that worry! He’s played a massive amount of the pre-seasons too

I have to make alot of changes to my lineup. this is my first time playing fpl so i dunno if its worth losing points to make these changes. And so far i dunno who to keep, who has potential.

coloccini – injury 75% of playing, should i keep him?
My defense has been terrible
Oscar : made the mistake of replacing hazard with him. however i think he will get some more gametime. Dunno if i should keep him either, or get hazard back in.
