After deliberating over your opening team, and who to captain, it is now time to sit back and see how your fantasy team performs. Following your fantasy players in action usually results in a roller-coaster ride of emotions, but there’s no need to keep it all bottled up. We invite fantasy managers to share their views on all the gameweek 1 matches live as the action unfolds.

Please use the message box below to chat with other fantasy managers whilst the games are in play. This is your chance to discuss starting line-ups; goals and assists; referee decisions; player performances etc.

Whether you want to share your joy or vent your frustration, ‘The Commentary Box’ is here for a bit of fun, and we hope it will make the gameweek 1 footy even more entertaining for you. Enjoy!

  1. Beer time said the clock lol

  2. Right, I’m off to the shops, hoping i return to a second half Torres trick!!
Will be back on for the game at the council house.

  3. had Hazard as my captain for so long but cause everyone else had Torres i played it safe to stick with what everyone else would gain or lose….sigh hopefully my boys score a few more against wigan second half :)

  4. They used to say form was temporary and class was permanent. What the hell happened to Torres then?

  5. All i want is for torres to score!

  6. an assist would help ABC…it’d be a start.

  7. England are in with a chance now but it looks like a draw to me

  8. Here’s the starting lineup for Manchester City:
Hart, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Clichy, Y Toure, Rodwell, Silva, Nasri, Tevez, Aguero

I’m hoping that three (Kompany, Toure, Aguero) of my players here would be able to snatch some points, since Torres (my captain) still hasn’t got any goals or assists in the present.

Also, Rodwell starting is a surprise.

  9. Can’t say I’m at all surprised at City reverting to their 4-2-3-1 formation. I predicted this earlier in the week. It’s almost impossible to use 3 at the back in the Prem.

  10. Amazing bowling by Finn! England looking a little better now…

  11. A couple of wicket before tea would be nice

  12. 40 points so far…. Lord save Ivanovic!!

  13. I’m going for a 4-0 City win. Tevez (2), Aguero (1), Silva or Yaya (1).

  14. Doesn’t look good for Aguero!
