Fantasy Football Cheat invite you to enter the ‘FFC Cup’ Competition. The FFC Cup is free to enter, and will run up to gameweek 17 when two fantasy teams will go head to head in the FFC Cup final. It’s hugely competitive, but ultimately only one fantasy manager will lift the FFC Cup… could it be you?

The FFC Cup

The competition will be split into two phases. The first phase will be a qualifying league which all teams will be entered into. The second phase will be a knock out competition for the highest scoring 128 teams from the qualifying league. Please read on for more details.

Qualifying League

The first phase of the FFC Cup will be a qualifying league. Every team that enters the FFC Cup will be entered into the qualifying league. The qualifying league will run for 10 gameweeks and will include gameweeks 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10.

The 128 teams that accumulate the most fantasy points between gameweek 1 and gameweek 10 will be taken forwards into the knock-out stages.

Knock-Out Stages

The knock-out stages of the FFC Cup will start in gameweek 11. We will randomly draw teams to play against one another. The first round will therefore consist of 64 matches as 128 teams go head to head against a randomly selected opponent.

The team with the highest score will progress through to the next round, with the losing team being eliminated from the competition.

By the time we reach gameweek 15 we will be down to just 8 teams. The final stages of the FFC Cup will therefore be played out as follows:

Gameweek 15 – Quarter-finals

Gameweek 16 – Semi-finals

Gameweek 17 – Final

How do I enter?

Entry is free and easy. The code to enter is 16990-6235.

As a slight aside, we have just started looking for a sponsor for the FFC Cup competition. If we find a sponsor then we will be asking them to supply a decent prize for the winner! The defending champion

The winner from last season was Paul Borton who manages a fantasy team called Masterton Marvels.  Paul had a superb cup run and defeated some of the best fantasy managers in the world to lift the trophy. You can read all about last seasons superb FFC Cup Final by clicking here. We wish Paul the best of luck as he looks to successfully defend his title.

  1. Evening everyone!

Does anyone have a link or list of every Premier club captain? Might be an interesting angle to try and get a few into the teams given the dependability and likelihood they will play week in week out?

  2. Looks like I’m clogging up the recent comments list!

  3. Advice please. Which is better team A or B

    A:

    Begovic (Green)
    R. Ferdinand, Zabaleta, Hangerland (Cuellar, Mariappa)
Bale, Pienaar, Hazard, Kagawa (El Ahmadi)
    Tevez, Graham, Rooney

    B:

    Begovic (Green)
    R. Ferdinand, Zabaleta, Hangerland (Clyne, Mariappa)
Bale, Yaya, Hazard, Kagawa (El Ahmadi)
    Tevez, Pog, Rooney

    • do you have a C team… ABC?

      • I see what you did there ;)

        • I have a similar line up ABC but decided not to risk Kagawa AND Hazard from the outset. Both are new and so could take a while to settle. Of course, they could both explode from the off!

I’ve settled on Hazard though simply because of the DGW and I reckon he’ll play at least 120 minutes over the two games. I brought Nasri in for Kagawa so could switch either of them later

          • Would prefer Kagawa to Hazard. Kagawa’s from the Bundesliga and players from there tend to settle in faster than those from anywhere else. I also think Hazard has looked pretty timid in pre-season and the community shield. Out of the 2 I’d say Hazard will be the one to take more time to adapt/settle.

          • Ok thanks for the advice guys :D

          • Petric has certainly done well in pre season too… Kagawa has scored some decent winning goals already for Man U… Bench has a point there…

    • Took me about 4 reads before I could spot the difference, but I reckon A looks slightly better.

  5. Good evening guys :)
Any chance you could advise me on my draft team?
    DDG, Jussi
    Lescott, Ivan, Hangeland, Cuellar, Demel
    Bale, Yaya, Ramires, Dyer, Noble
    Torres, Teves, Pog

This leaves 4 mil in the bank, so I can upgrade Torres to Rooney if he fluffs his lines, and Ramires to whatever chelsea mid emerges or Valencia for example
    Cheers XD
