The summer break has seen a huge amount of transfer activity, with Liverpool the latest club to splash the cash to secure the signing of Joe Allen from Brendan Rodger’s former club Swansea. With so many players coming and going, we have decided to release a summary of all of this summer’s Premier League transfer activity.

Why review transfers?

When it comes to selecting your opening team in the FPL, the fantasy managers that do the best are normally the ones that spend a bit of time researching potential player options ahead of making their final decisions.  A great place to kick off that analysis is with the Premier League summer transfer dealings. Every year we review the summer transfer activity ahead of selecting our official Fantasy Football Cheat team.  We do this as it often provides a little nudge or reminder of key new arrivals that we should look into as potential player options.

Therefore to assist you in your decision making we thought it would be helpful to pull together a summary of this summer’s Premier League transfers.  For ease of reference, we have split the transfer analysis to show all the players in and players out at each individual Premier League club.

  1. Whoever told me to watch Stuart : A Life Backwards, thank you! It was awesome

  2. who does everyone think is better,
    dyer or sinclair (both swansea)

    • Last season they started at 4.5M & 6M and reflected a good bargain at that price. This year they are 1M more each because of it. Around half way through last season the goals dried up & Swansea lost 4 on the bounce. It was around then Sigurdsson came in & picked the team up.

So, new manager, new year, lost Sigurdsson. How will Swansea do? If you are going with Swansea then you’ll get more points per pound with Dyer, but only just.

    • There are also comments on the site that Sinclair is off to City.

    • If you want a swans midfielder then it’s michu, failing that deguzman/Sinclair, the swans are playing slightly different this year :) don’t think dyer will get many goals as crossing the ball a lot more which is helping graham and is perfect for michu who is playing more like a second striker :)

  3. Allen (Liverpool) or McClean or Larsson (Sunderland) ?

Any suggestions for alternatives to Krul?

  4. PLS RATE MY TEAM
